SEATTLE, Washington – Snow sifts down, powder rising ankle-deep. And smack in the middle of the blizzard, my friend Amy W. shows up with a 20lb turkey: the last on the neighborhood supermarkets' shelves, in fact.
Clearly I lucked into a dedicated co-host for the holiday dinner here on Christmas evening.
