Booyah! The hydrological apex of N. America

Water falling on 11,339-foot Snow Dome – in the Columbia Icefield – flows into the Arctic and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Hudson Bay. Our crystallized breath may eventually trickle off the edges of the continent in three directions.

Not bad for a day's work!
One of the best perks of Travel Classics: discovering new friends with lots of old, deep connections. Ax on the Columbia Icefield with David Eisemann (l) and Pat Perry (ninja, r).
