A sunset straight from my childhood playbook
En route home from British Columbia, I saw the sky ignite all blue and gold: the tints I associate with my tween and teen years on Samish Island, Washington. I've been fortunate to see many lovely sunsets around the globe, from Rome to Kenya and the Cook Islands, as I recently discussed on MSN. But none tug my heartstrings quite like this...
