FREAKY FRIDAY
SEATTLE, Washington – Society often ostracizes bachelorettes, so it's fitting a book in their honor launches on Friday the 13th. Single State of the Union – which contains my essay "Tangled Up in Wild Blue" – debuts in just three hours.

Um, I didn't mention it sooner, because I'm not reading this round, just whistling and throwing undergarments at the stage. But I'll mumble into the mike at the following:

Seattle
Queen Anne Books
"Single de Mayo" celebration
Saturday, May 5, 3 p.m.

Bellingham
Village Books
Thursday, May 3, 7 p.m.

Further readings here.

I was all geeked up to read at Elliott Bay Books, except I have an assignment in Milan that day.

Talk about a a surfeit of good things...

You need to come down and do one of the SF readings! All that intercontinental traipsing and you've yet to hit the little burg by the bay that for some reason is world renowned. -J
